BBC Politics West

My first appearance

When I first got the email to invite me into the studio for BBC Politics West, I resisted replying. It was a frightening thought.

I hate myself on video and in photographs, which is why I have always preferred podcasting and why I loved having my own radio shows on community radio.

But, as I told the producer when I did reply, I was doing it because I was scared…

“Feel the fear and do it anyway”

So, did I enjoy it? Yes.

Will I do it again? Mmm…the jury is still out (oh, wait! Do we still have those?)
